What an odd little bug
Whats that noise I think to myself. I’m stood on the deck, black coffee in hand, enjoying the ambience of the bush when all of sudden my ear catches something. I don’t know where so my eyes start to scan.
What an odd sound, metallic in nature and yet still I can’t pinpoint its source. Then I spot something quite small zipping around in the air nearby. I don’t know what it is but I can tell its source of this mysterious sound. Not unlike keys jangling or small gears grinding.
As it floats by my eye, I watch it dart back and forth like a seahorse would, even more intriguing I think to myself. At first I settle for a butterfly, but this is like no butterfly I've ever seen before. Dark in colour with a pattern I cant catch.
Before I know it has gone off… and yet slowly the noise gets louder before it reappears again to make one last encore.
What an odd little bug.
