Compliments to the chef
Trees are a wonderful thing. Why more people don’t stop and take them I don’t know.
I’m lucky enough to have seen 2 of the most beautiful varieties of tree at their peak bloom, the wonderful jacaranda trees of Australia and the spectacular cherry blossom trees in Washington DC. Both are special in their own rights and are a marvel to watch.
I say watch because the enjoyment isn’t only in the blooms of these trees, but when they begin to shed their amazingly colourful flowers it can only be likened to snow, although in the case of the jacaranda its purple.
I was recently reminded of the beauty of trees by someone, a person who I am grateful to have spent so much time with. The way you spoke of trees made me smile and re-appreciate them…
And for that I give me compliments to the chef.
